140 acres of coastal grasses, old pastures, clover laden grassland and herbs just south of St Davids. There cattle graze from March until Christmas in a totally organic environment. No sprays, no chemicals, and GMO free feed mean that Caerfai has been totally organic since 1991 and proud holder of a Soil Association symbol since 1993.
Home to three types of cheese. Caerfai Cheddar. Matured for 5-9 months, made with unpasteurised milk, vegetarian renet and sea salt and bound in traditional cloth. Caerphilly and Caerphilly with Leek and Garlic. Made to a traditional local recipe. And totally organic with leeks and garlic added just before the moulding.
Father and son family run business for 25 years. Mark, the son, now runs it alone. Fish bought to you the traditional way. From local fishermen who work St Brides Bay using centuries old techniques. Then prepared by Mark using skills passed down from generation to generation. The real taste of the Pembrokeshire coast.

They grow the most fantastic strawberries that we've ever tried, as well as some amazing asparagus.

Audrey delivers every morning the pick of her produce. At Christmas time she has the best Christmas Trees in the area.
Hand crafted cheeses made on a family farm. The organic farmhouse cheese is made exclusively from the milk of organic cows. We love Perl Las, a truly different blue cheese which has a strong lingering flavour and Perl Wen, and organic soft white cheese with a fresh lemony centre.
A family run business set in the small traditional Welsh hill farm near the Preseli mountains. Their cheeses have been developed using locally produced milk and their taste offers a real Welsh farmhouse cheese taste. They have 7 cheeses in their range, we especially love Caws Cerwyn - a light, creamy cheese with a mellow, nutty, buttery taste.
Pembrokeshire clotted cream made from their own Jersey cows.
Situated in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Countryside, Hillside Smokery is a great family business who use traditional methods with much of their work being done by hand. They use their own or local ingredients to hand smoke their wares. We love their smoked salmon which is great served with some fresh bread and a simple dill mayonnaise.
We love nothing more than browsing round the Farmers' Markets seeing what great local seasonal produce we can pick up and use at the restaurant. There are two that are musts:
